Summer Winding Down

Summer Winding Down

As summer winds down and fall creeps in, it’s time to start wrapping up modeling projects that kept us out of the heat! What’s good about that is, we’ve started seeing more and more layouts shared on our social media pages these last few weeks. Five samples shown below demonstrate the kind of quality content modelers like you are delivering on a weekly basis.

Peaceful Water
Built with several bridges servicing the line, @iaisfan's Atlantic, IA-based layout looks like a splendid place to operate, as well as a peaceful place to visit. Click through for ten images and a full walk-through of the west end.
A Hill with a View
While the wildlife seems utterly un-phased by the thundering freight nearby, we’re very excited to see three videos of this Southern Pacific train rolling back into town. Click through to @rodgers_rail_and_freight’s profile and you’ll be treated to volumes of images and videos of this charming little town.

Each week we’re witnessing some amazing modeling work on display, which is critical in these extraordinary times. Keep modeling and keep sharing. Your work is an inspiration to us and to others as well. And be sure to tag @waltherstrains or use the hashtag #walthers for a chance to be featured!
