Veteran Equipment
Railroads are great innovators when it comes to finding new work for old cars. Many of these WWII troop sleepers led long lives as express boxcars, cabooses and all kinds of work train equipment, like this C&O car by JTLX HO Locomotive Group. |
Who you gonna call?
Poster @p.a.kurch_ added flashing lights to this scene based on the classic movie Ghostbusters. Click on the white arrow to see another silver-screen-inspired project from this talented modeler. |

Street Running
In more than a few communities, main line and Main Street were one in the same! Early efforts to attract railroads led city fathers to permit construction into the very heart of town, where trains and traffic passed within a few feet of each other for decades. It's getting late, but we're in time to catch a CNW freight amble along Joe Russell's layout. |
Railfanning on the river
This boater found a prime spot to watch a Missouri Pacific freight rumble across the bridge. Click on the white arrows to see more of the exceptional scenery work from poster @stl.n.scale.

Inside Out
It's quiet now, but Matt Obrien's new diesel shop will soon be a beehive of activity! Big or small, interior details can take any structure to a new level of realism, and with its many windows and open floor space, this should be a real eye-catcher when complete!

We hope you enjoy these scenes and discussions as much as we enjoy bringing them to you! Check out our newest announcements in the recent New Product Express video.
